Sri Lanka rupee opens stronger, bond yields down | EconomyNext

The rupee closed at 298.53/58 to the US dollar

Bond yields were down on the 2028s and 2029s.

Rupee closed at 298.60/70 to the US dollar in the spot market Wednesday

The 12-month yield was flat at 8.30 percent with 73 billion rupees of bills offered and 111 of bills sold.

Rupee opened at 298.90/299.10 to the US dollar in the spot market

The debentures are rated two notches below the MBSL’s National Long-Term Rating.

Rupee strengthened to 298.85/95

The rating of the proposed sukuk issuance is at the same level as Vidullanka’s National Long-Term Rating

Issue of up to 20 million, listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable senior social bonds
