A drunken yob was caught headbutting a female pub manager after being asked to leave a Wetherspoons in Whitstable, Kent.
24 year old, Leon Wimsett, had been drinking and taking cocaine before the assault. He claimed that he had left his mobile phone behind the bar to be charged and when he returned it was missing. The manager said that they do not offer a charging service and therefore the phone would not have been placed behind the bar.
Despite the violent attack, after a court appearance, he avoided jail and was handed a suspended sentence and £739 in fines and costs.
